Received the email to setup the EFT from VW last night and the funds showed up as pending but usable this morning.
McLaren GT3 for putting up with my VW posting.

They should have had a cash option, and let you choose the denomination. Yes in fact I would like 10,000 $2 bills.

Yeah, I was hoping for an unmarked nonsequential small bills in a brief case option.

I got 10,000 rubles before I went to Russia from Bank of America. They asked me how I wanted it; large bills, mixed, or small bills. I said give me small bills. I agree a brief case with non-sequential bills would be the best way to leave a VW dealer.

Did it seem weird to get the EFT info in an email?
I was expecting to have to enter some routing info in the claims website after I uploaded my buyback acceptance, but that might come later.
Anyway, congrats on making it through the whole buyback process!

After you upload your acceptance and its approved (took about a week for me) you get an email telling you to log in and schedule your appointment. If you go EFT the appointments can be sooner (2 weeks out instead of 4) and you can put in your zip code to find other dealerships other than one you initially selected. I ended up checking all the ones within an hour of my house to get the earliest appointment I could.
The representative told me to expect the email from Chase in 24 to 48 hours and if I didn’t get one she said to call her.
After you complete the turn in the portal closes and you get an e-mail “receipt” of the amount and how much goes where.
In my case it had the total, the amount to the lender, then the rest that I was getting. The e-mail from chase popped up in my inbox last night (about 30 hours after my turn in) and it contained a link to the chase payments site where I put in my information. After putting in my account number a couple times and confirming everything the closing screen said the funds would transfer in 1 to 2 business days.

Thanks for the info. And now I’m even happier I chose the EFT option - Hopefully I get lucky and don’t get a NoVA snowstorm right before my turn-in (knock on wood)

Good luck, I ended up doing my turn in Karen Radley. But you can always put in zip codes that you know to hit dealerships farther away if you are willing to drive. I checked Lindsay, Stohlman, Fairfax, Don Beyer (Winchester), and Karen Radley when I was looking for appointments.

Well, it looks like they’ve improved their response time - I’ve already received my email to schedule my appointment. Bad news is, mid-February is the earliest I could find in the area.

Ugh, then again she said its 8 appointments per day and most dealerships only have on person doing them.
